Exhibition:
Return to Friction @ DEMO Einhdoven

Return to Friction was born out of a collective wish to take a step back from an increasingly smooth navigation through tech interfaces. The work translates friction into an interactive installation consisting of a desktop deconstructed into it’s individual components. The term ‘friction’ is borrowed by the designers Luna Maurer and Roel Wouters. The visitor is invited to experience friction through managing a mundane task with an unco-operating interface and interact with the components by engaging body and mind.

The piece was featured at Frictional Futures; an expo hosted by DEMO Einhdoven.
