Sistine is named after the famous outreach of hands on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel. One of the most famous instances of a yearning for connection.

The piece itself is a pair of gloves, each containing half a circuit that can only be completed when the two hold hands. It is a piece of wearable tech aiming to move away from the sleek utilitarian world of apple watches and measuring heart rates. Sistine aims to bring technology to celebrate small moments of connection.
Alongside the gloves I created a video demonstrating the function of the gloves in conjunction with an interview on how the connection between technology and intimacy can be nurtured. Find the film here.
